One story 7000sf custom residence with a 2000sf basement consisting of a garage and wine cellar.  Glass floor panels at the dining room provide a visual of the wine racks as they cascade down the side of the dining room and into the wine cellar below.  Steel beams where used above the garage to support the kitchen due to limited height in the subterranean garage.

Two-story 6,500 square feet custom residence located in The Hideaways.  Upon entering the community, The Mello Residence is the first home seen across the fairway.  The distinct tiled domes define the structure and also created a unique challenge for the structural design to maintain the volume space in the domes.  One of the main features is the island dining room which is surrounded by a 4’ wide moat.

Campbell Residence – Dana Point, California

Two story 7,500 square feet custom residence located on the coastline of Dana Point.  Retaining walls were used on the perimeter to allow the residence to be recessed into the hillside.  Maximizing the square footage, building within the height limits and maximizing the ocean view created many challenges and intricate detailing.  Manufactured steel shear walls were used to fit within the architecture to maintain the open views.  A conventional ribbed foundation was used due to the effects of expansive soils.

This Santa Barbara style home on the famous flower streets of Corona Del Mar takes advantage of every square foot of space available.
